How we work
- Official first: press kits, brochures and technical data sheets from the manufacturers.
- Secondary sources are used only when no official figure exists, and they are labelled as such with a lower confidence flag.
- If a number is not published, the table says so. We do not estimate.
- Photos are freely licensed files from Wikimedia Commons, credited under every image and on the image-credits page.
What we cannot tell you yet
- Prices: official German list prices are shown where the manufacturer publishes them (Land Rover, Porsche). Otherwise the comparison pages show a dated mobile.de snapshot of asking prices in Germany for cars up to 100,000 km, undamaged, clearly labelled as listings, not official prices. Some groups are still being updated.
- Reliability and ownership costs: no sourced data yet, so no verdicts.
- “Which one should you buy”: that needs hands-on testing we have not done.
